Category 1: Music or dance programmes made for television
Programmes that are television adaptations of a previously presented stage performance cannot be entered in this category. This category is reserved for original audiovisual works that have been made for television. This restriction does not apply to the audio part of the work; it is possible to accept an older musical recording.
Category 2: Music and dance programmes adapted for television
TV programmes that have been preceded by a stage performance.
Category 3: Documentary programmes with a musical or dance theme
Programmes documenting various musical events or profiling artistic personalities from the field of music and dance.
Category 4: "Live" recordings of concerts or performances (opera, operetta, ballet)
A condition for including a programme in this category is that it should be a live recording of a musical event, which took place at one particular time and whose course could not have been influenced by a television recording. Part of the programme may include additional documentary footage (interviews with artists, shots of rehearsals, etc.). However, this may not exceed 20 % of the entire duration of the programme. |

| Festival Overview |
| Mission | The International Television Festival Golden Prague (hereinafter only referred to as ITF GP) aims to contribute to the recognition of music and dance television programmes through competition, professional gatherings, public screenings and a video library.
There is an opportunity to present television programmes whose musical elements consist of compositions from the realm of musicals and pop-music (video clips) in the non-competition part of the festival. The artistic quality of programmes is a condition for their presentation. The management of ITF GP reserves the right to reject a programme that, in ethical or aesthetic terms, may be at variance with the role of public television.
ITF GP, therefore, supports international exchange of programmes. It is a place where programme makers, producers, broadcasters and distributors can come together, and it initiates cooperation between them.
Personal registration: free of charge
Submition of the competition programme: 160 Eur
Submition of the non-competition programme: 23 Eur (if none programme is submitted to the competition) or 16 Eur (if at least one programme is submitted in the competition) |
