The festival is a precursor to new relations in the world of culture. There is no elitism, no VIP lounges, nor any types of priveleges for anyone. In the past seven years we have succeeded in creating an atmosphere in which no one feels like an outsider, less important or belittled. Everyone is treated equally.

Traditionally, the festival takes place in the first third of the month of September, in Indian summer, when the first signs of autumn crawl into the small Mediterranean town of Siroki Brijeg and sweltering heats come to an end. The first festival was held in 2000, but then it was merely a review of films.
