| Mission | The GlobalFest Film Festival is a mini-film festival that features films with a unique cultural perspective. Each night, there will be a screening of two to three films of cultural relevance. Local directors will be invited as special guests to the screening of their film. The GlobalFest Film Festival is co-presented by the Calgary Pan Asian Cinema Society, National Film Board of Canada and the Calgary Public Library. |
| History | The global film portion of the festival was started in 2005 as an extra addition to our cultural display pavillions. Since then, it has grown to include award-winning narratives, animations and thought provoking documentaries with an international flare! |
