The London Lesbian Film Festival is a celebratory gathering at which we project our images, challenge our politics, and reflect upon our lives. The festival aims to portray the richness and diversity of lesbian experiences and to strengthen our communities.

The Reeling Spinsters are a diverse group of lesbian, bisexual and queer women who work hard all year long screening films, fundraising, advertising and putting on the festival. The committee is entirely volunteer.

In 1992, coming home to London from the Montreal Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, the first coordinator had a vision: why shouldn't London have its very own lesbian film fest? It might seem unlikely, in a famously conservative city of only a quarter of a million people, but nothing is impossible when women get busy....Now 15 years later the festival has remain a vibrant festival drawing women from all over Canada and the North Central United States.
