* Must not have shown publicly prior to 1/1/05

* Must not have been publicly broadcast (TV or internet) or exhibited commercially in Canada prior to the Festival. Short films may have been shown online for a limited time on noncommercial websites, i.e. online film festivals.

* Premieres are given priority.

* Non-English and Non-French language works must have English or French subtitles or be accompanied by dialogue lists in English or French and the original language. If invited, works must have English or French subtitles for exhibition.

* VHS (NTSC or PAL) or DVD formatted for multi-zone or for Zone 1 (North America), labeled with the work's title, running time, director(s) name(s), contact number and email. If sending in VHS, please label tape as NTSC or PAL.

The idea of the Tremblant Film Festival was conceived to allow moviemakers, movie fans and industry professionals to mix in harmony. We gathered a group of film, media and technology professionals from North America and Europe who shared a common thread - the belief that movies, today's storytelling medium of choice, can shape, educate, inspire and nurture imagination and creativity.

It is our mission to provide filmmakers with a showcase platform for new films, sought-after gems and box office hits often ignored outside their home countries, all within a fun, casual and chic atmosphere.

With over 60,000 projected in attendance, international media coverage, convention facilities, high-end accommodations, restaurants, golf and transportation logistics, Tremblant has the perfect infrastructure to create exclusive events.

This is the first inaugaural edition of the festival.
