	Festival Overview
Mission	The mission of the Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival is to expose youth and adults to a broad range of cultural, artistic and philosophical ideas and lifestyles through the presentation of film, video, and new media in order to stimulate critical analysis and inspire an interest in using the medium as a creative tool.
History	Started in 1995, VIFVF started as a 2-day event screening a scant 4 features and 6 shorts. Over the next 12 years has grown to a 10 day event screening over 140 films with a film forum and Trigger Points Pacific, a co-production conference to boot!
